How to Install
Our roller shades are designed with real humans in mind – meaning you don't need an engineering degree. See for yourself with our 3 easy steps.
Worried about tools? Don't be. A power drill is best but even a simple screw driver may do. Don't have it? Check out Home Depot or your nearest hardware store which often offer tool rentals, like a ladder.
Inside Mount
Step 1: Position Your Bracket
Position brackets at the top of your window frame & mark holes with pencil
Tips: Keep brackets 4 inches from each end of the shade and double-check that brackets are level with each other
Step 2: Drill & Install Brackets
With a screwdriver or drill, secure the brackets by installing screws at the holes you previously marked
Tips: The majority of window openings have wood studs around the opening. If your screws do not secure into wood, use the provided anchors
Step 3: Install Your Shade
Holding your shade with both hands, insert the front lip of the valance into the front compression part of the bracket
Tilt & Lock: Tilt the back of the shade up until the valance catches
Outside Mount
Step 1: Position Your Bracket
Choose the mounting location, 3“-6" above your window opening or molding
Position brackets at the top of your window frame & mark holes with pencil
Tips: Keep brackets 4 inches from each end of the shade and double-check that brackets are level with each other
Step 2: Drill & Install Brackets
With a screwdriver or drill, secure the brackets by installing screws at the holes your previously marked
Tips: The majority of window openings have wood studs around the opening. If you don’t, use the provided anchors
